Acne is a chronic inflammatory condition that is mostly triggered by an imbalance of hormones and healthy gut bacteria. Unhealthy lifestyle habits, unhealthy diet, and not using the correct skin care products can definitely trigger acne. Most chronic health conditions don’t have a cure because they are triggered by the poor immune response. Hence why it is important to follow the instructions provided to you even after your reset protocol is over.
-
The package includes your cleanser, moisturizer, spf, and a corrective serum for the first month usage. The rest of the products include acne topical creams, vitamin A and exfoliant which you would have to purchase separately. Every case of acne is different. Some people don’t require all the products. That’s why we only cover the basic products since that’s something all patients will need.

In the past 5 years we have worked with Facereality skincare. It is mainly because they have a clear proven record of customer satisfaction and affordable price points. Their protocols work in synergy with our holistic approach and they are very accessible and convenient. Their costs are effective and that's why we work with them mainly, but if a patient has a preference we are happy to incorporate other brands.

The initial appointment is 60 minutes and every other following appointment is around 30-45 minutes. During initial consultation we will go over some screening questions and a full analysis of your health to curate a full customized treatment plan for your situation. Second appointment will be dedicated to walk you through the steps we need to take in order to get your acne under control. During this appointment you will also get to see Dr. Mirza to talk about your test results and what actions we need to take. The last 4 appointments will basically be follow ups so we can adjust and modify the treatment plan depending on how your skin is improving.

We don’t give any guarantees or over promise and under deliver, but we will give you a few things during this program that will help you forever in your skincare and health journey.
During the program we have 3 phases. Purging Phase, Adjusting Phase, Management phase.
Purging phase: This phase starts from the moment you start your treatment and can last up to 6 weeks. During this phase you will experience more acne and purging. Your body will learn to adapt to a few dietary changes so you might experience some loose stool and upset stomach (Which can last up to 10 days) This is your body’s way of adjusting to a new diet. Your gut bacteria takes time to adapt to how to digest new foods that are being introduced to it.
Adjusting Phase: This phase starts after week 6 of your treatment and will last up to week 12 of treatment. At this point your skin has adapted to new ingredients and your body has also adjusted to new dietary changes we have made. You acne should start slowing down at this point now. You should start experiencing 50% less acne breakouts from this point on.
Management phase: After week 12 you have entered the management phase. This phase focuses on giving the tools that we used in the first two phases and help you master them so you learn to manage your acne. This phase takes about another 12 weeks to master and truly understand what your skin needs. The tools in this phase are the one that will help you learn what triggers your acne and how you can manage it.
Disclaimer:The timeline of these phases aren’t set in stone. They are influenced by many factors such as your consistency and commitment to the process and also every individual responds differently to products, food and supplements. -

Conventional medicine focuses on treating symptoms. When you visit a doctor with a specific complaint, they will typically diagnose the issue and prescribe medication or suggest surgery to alleviate the symptoms. For example, if you have high blood pressure, a conventional doctor might prescribe blood pressure-lowering drugs. This approach is very effective for acute, urgent conditions and follows standardized protocols based on established guidelines. Conventional medicine tends to be specialized, meaning different doctors focus on different parts of the body or specific diseases.
Functional medicine, on the other hand, seeks to understand and address the root causes of health issues. Instead of just treating symptoms, it looks at the whole person, including their lifestyle, diet, environment, and genetics. For instance, if you have high blood pressure, a functional medicine practitioner would explore why you have this condition. They might look at factors like diet, stress levels, and other underlying health issues. This approach is highly personalized, creating tailored treatment plans that may include dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and natural therapies. Functional medicine is particularly effective for managing chronic conditions and focuses on long-term health.
The key difference lies in their approach. Conventional medicine is great for immediate, short-term treatments, while functional medicine aims for long-term wellness by addressing the root causes of health problems. Conventional care is often episodic and disease-specific, while functional care is continuous and holistic, involving a deep partnership between the patient and practitioner. Essentially, conventional medicine views the body in parts, treating each issue separately, whereas functional medicine views the body as an interconnected whole, understanding that everything is linked.
